Mix the flour, milk, cream, egg yolks, stir in the vanilla sugar and rum to a smooth dough. (If
children participate omit the rum).
Beat the egg whites and salt lightly,
then beat with the
sugar until stiff
and fold into the mixture.
In a large frying pan, heat a little oil, pour in the Schmarrenteig, sprinkle with the apples, bake the underside golden brown, then turn around. Then put the pan in the preheated oven and bake at 200 degrees about the rubbish 4-5 minutes. Then the rubbish is torn to pieces. With a little icing sugar, add a little butter and briefly pan on the stove, so that the sugar caramelized.
Serve on hot plates, sprinkle with icing sugar and serve.
